Gran Canaria Excursions
No two Gran Canaria excursions are the same. The main reason for this is that you’re in charge, and you are the one who decides the duration, as well as where you want to go. Want to stop and take a selfie? No problem, we can do it. Want to visit the two-floor Primark store, and then the Swedish Ikea furniture store, and get all the shopping deliverefd inside the cruise harbour, or your hotel? Consider it done.
Gran Canaria is an island like no other. There is so much to do, for all kinds of people. If you hate beaches, then we will take you to the interior. You will be surprised when you see the greenery in the interior of the island. We will show you the Roque Nublo, one of the must-see places in Tejeda (see photo above). If you love beaches, then Playa del Ingles, and Maspalomas are for you.
Other Companies’ Gran Canaria Excursions
You may consider us crazy, but we sometimes recommend our competitor’s excursions. Now, why would we do that? The reason is simple: they are better than us, in what they do. Ok, so you will probably ask, “then, what’s in for you?” Well, in this case, we make some cash by picking you up from your hotel in the south of the island, and then delivering you back, after you have completed your excursion with the tour operator.
Cruise Ship Services
The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria port is becoming very popular, and plenty of cruise ships stop here. The big season starts in October and lasts till the end of April. During this time, shops open even on Sundays and holidays.
Our special taxi service for cruise ship passengers is great for those who don’t want to walk much. We will pick you up right in front of your ship. To locate your taxi, search for a one of our friendly drivers. He or she will be holding a sign with your name on it. Get in the taxi, and you’re in charge!
Recommended Gran Canaria Excursions for Cruise Ship Passengers
Cruise ship passengers who visit the island have one big worry: getting back on time, before the ship leaves at 5 o’clock. That’s why many of them choose the safe and easy thing: to walk, almost round-the-block, to the nearby landmarks. They either visit the big “El Corte Ingles” department store buildings (yes, there are two of them, right in front of each other), or “Las Canteras” beach. Then they head back to the cruise ship.
If you really want to see the most beautiful part of the island, you can book a four, five, or six -hour tour, and visit beautiful places like the Maspalomas dunes and lighthouse, and have lunch at the Puerto de Mogan, which is known as the “Little Venice” of Gran Canaria.
How to Book Your Excursion
If you’re arriving at the cruise harbour, you can arrange a direct pick up, right in front of the ship, and one of our drivers will be there, waiting for you, at the time you decide. Most people choose 9 o’clock, but if you hate to rush, and would like to take things easier, it is also possible to pick you up later. To make things simple, we have 3 kinds of excursions, depending on the duration of the excursion: 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours.
If you’re staying in a hotel, one of drivers will pick you up, at whatever time you wish.
Here’s how to book:
- Choose “Gran Canaria Cruise Harbour” or the town where your hotel is, from the Pick-up locations
- Choose your excursion: 4 hours, 5 hours, or 6 hours, from the Drop-off Locations
- Mention any special requirements or places you would like to visit, in the order form
- Make payment
- Get ready for your excursion
